The objective of this research is to tailor composites with continuous bamboo fibers as reinforcement a bio-based polyamide (RilsanXD). Using mild chemical and mechanical treatment, technical were extracted from Phyllostachys viridiglaucescens. They have an average diameter 397 µm. Their tensile strength 323 MPa, their Young modulus 26 GPa. Single ply fibers/polyamide processed. Gravimetric analyses show that allows processing conditions at 200 °C, therefore permitting make without degrading the fibrous reinforcement. Composites composition was determined peak mass derivative curve associated situated 330 °C. 60 m % prepared analyzed. SEM images observation cryo-cuts shows absence voids between matrix. cohesion in shear tested by dynamic analyses.
